Marta | Quilted Storage Basket

For twenty-two years, I taught economics to teenagers. I loved my years in the classroom, but quietly, I carried another dream with me — one I kept telling myself I’d pursue “someday.”

I had always loved clothing. Not trends or dressing to impress, but those special pieces that make a woman look in the mirror and simply feel like herself again.

Nine years ago, my husband Tom looked at me across the kitchen table and said, “Maybe someday is now.”

So I took the leap, left the classroom behind, and began a new chapter with Marys Calgary.

What started as a small dream became more meaningful than I ever imagined.

Now I’m sixty-three, and after nine wonderful years, it’s time for me to retire.

Not because something went wrong.

Because something went beautifully right — and I’m wise enough to know when it’s time to let go.

As I prepare to close this chapter, everything in my boutique is now 50% off. Not because these pieces mean any less to me, but because I’d rather see them find a place in your wardrobe than remain on my racks.

Every piece I chose was chosen for women like us — real women who want to feel comfortable, confident and beautifully themselves.

Thank you for letting my little dream become part of your story too.

With love,
Mary Carter ❤️
